What are you thinking? If you don't know, then turn inward and ask, "What am I thinking?" Our thoughts are how we create what will show up next in our lives.

If we focus on self-defeating ideas such as, "I'll never be able to lose weight," we are projecting into the future, and this can cause fear and anxiety. We might think, "Uh, oh... If I don't lose weight, I'll never have the life I deserve." Feelings of hopelessness can often follow. "It's no use, I'm a failure. I don't deserve to have the life of my dreams." This type of thinking convinces us that we have no faith in our ability to change.
If we are not living in the present moment, we are constantly pulling ourselves backward or forward. It is no wonder that we might feel "stuck", and the result is that our weight will not budge no matter what diet plan we try or how much exercise we do. Our body is responding to our judgments.
If you choose to nurture thoughts that are in alignment with your dreams, you will be guided to achieve your goals. Give yourself the gift of living every moment in the present.
